I was going to give up on this blog because I never seem to have the time, but realised that it doesn’t matter how often I do it. As long as I still believe in the fact that our generation can be the generation to end poverty.
I want to be a part of it!

It is 00:08 at night and I cannot sleep.
I was asked by a younger member of my family to explain why I do this? By ‘this’ she meant blog about poverty. This got me thinking.
Trying to explain this to a 13 year old self claimed “know it all’ who ends every disagreement with “you know its because I’m right” is both difficult and daunting.
I may not have many folllowers, nor do I blog a lot. However, I feel very passionate about the subject: ending poverty. Doing this however, requires a great deal of understanding and knowledge. This comes with time and my time is limited. I work two jobs and pay my share around the house. This leaves me with little time but I refuse to sidetrack my fellow man whom is suffering, essentially, needlessly.
I believe in people and the power of kindness and humanity and I want to invest in it.
My desire to share also drives me. I want to learn and use my knowledge to teach others about the plague of poverty. Especially considering that there is a cure.
I believe in hope and I believe in ending poverty. I desperately want to make a change…
